Pouncestar lept up onto the ShineyRock and looked at the cats behind her.
She smiled. "Welcome. You are our newest members to ShineClan. Let's see we have our Deputy, Lynxspirit, our Head Warrior, Ravenswoop, Clawstep, Lionblaze, Hollystep, Coralstone, Icepaw, Spiderpaw, Spiritpaw, Soulpaw, Winterkit, and Snowbreeze. Do you all promise to uphold the warrior code? Even with the cost of your life?"
All the cats nodded eagerly. "We do!"
Pouncestar purred. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I keep your names and welcome you as full members of ShineClan! Icepaw's mentor will be Hollystep. Spiderpaw's mentor will be Lionblaze. Spiritpaw's mentor will be Clawstep. Soulpaw's mentor will be Lynxspirit. And since Winterkit is not quiet old enough to be an apprentice, I will look after her. Congratulations to you all!"

Lionblaze looked around at other cats. He smiled, and sat up straight. His gaze landed on Hollystep's for a brief moment.

Spiritpaw looked shyly over at Clawstep. She would be able to meet him and learn more about him because he was her mentor.

Snowbreeze dragged herself into the elder's den, and sighed. She rested her head on the ground, listening to the cats in the clearing talking.

Lynxspirit smiled at Soulpaw. "Hello there. I'm looking forward to mentoring you." he meowed to the small silver tom. Padding over to Snowbreeze, he meowed "Er.... hi! Do you need any help with anything?"

Icepaw padded over to Soulpaw. "Er...Hiya Soulpaw!" Icepaw blushed and quickly looked down at her paws.

Pouncestar padded over to Winterkit. "Winterkit, come with me and I'll help you make a nest in my den."

Pouncestar padded over to Ravenswoop and smiled. "Hey Ravenswoop, welcome to ShineClan."

Spiritpaw blushed, "Sure! I-I'd love to!" She staggered, and she felt her ears get warm with embarassment.

Snowbreeze lifted her head, and smiled at the deputy. "I think I'm fine for now". She grinned happily at him.

Souplpaw smiled at Icepaw, "U-um, hi Icepaw!"
ReplyDeleteWinterkit followed around Pouncestar, doing the things she did and mewed to Ravenswoop, "Hey Ravenswoop! Welcome to ShineClan!" She puffed up trying to look leader-like.
Hollystep purred at Winterkit.
Clawstep purred. "Great. Meet me in the Camp Clearing, first get something to eat." Clawsterp flicked Spiritpaw's ear playfully with his tail, smiled, and then padded away, preparing for the training session.

Spiritpaw purred, and skipped along to the freshkill pile. She quickly ate a mouse, and dashed to the camp clearing.

'Thank you Pouncstar, and Winterkit-' Ravenswoop chuckled at the little kit '-I am sure I will like it here. It's nice to be with so many cats at the same time. The life of a loner gets kind of.... Lonely at times.' Ravenswoop cheerily smiled at his leader.

Coralstone padded up to her new Clanmate, Lionblaze. 'Hi Lionblaze, I'm Coralstone. We've seen each other before when we were rougues... Remember me? Cora? We were in the same area of twolegplace, but you were a few alleys down from my den....' Coralstone mewed hopefully at her past aquaintance.
